Morning Star of Revelation is a 62ft gaff ketch yacht and is the flagship of the Trust.
She was purpose built for sail training and can sail in almost any conditions, anywhere, at anytime.
You must be 15 or over to sail on Morning Star, you can book on as an individual or organise to bring a group.
Cruises
Morning Star sails regularly in Tall Ships' Races, and in 2003 won first place in the new Small Ships' Race. She regularly sails to France, Holland and the Channel Islands and has been as far afield as Spain, Russia and America.
Morning Star is sailed by our qualified leadership team of 3 (Skipper, 1st and 2nd mates) and a crew of 11, which you can join. Whether you are a novice or an experienced sailor there are plenty of exciting challenges in learning how to sail this beautiful boat.
RYA qualification courses.
Morning Star Trust is a registered RYA Training Centre and we run Competent Crew courses on some of our Morning Star Cruises.
Duke of Edinburgh Award
Morning Star Trust is a National Duke of Edinburgh Award 'Access Organisation' and Morning Star is regularly used for DofE Gold Residentials.
Safety
Morning Star of Revelation holds a Small Commercial Vessel Certificate and is fitted with a wide range of equipment including: GPS, colour chart plotter/radar, DSC VHF radio, MF long range radio, satellite communication and Navtex weather information system and AIS Class B transceiver.
