Experience the joy and challenge of sailing through the day and night, taking your turn to do watches on deck and cooking down below, as you crew Morning Star across the southern North Sea to The Netherlands.  Time and weather permitting, you will experience the extensive Dutch inland waterways and have the opportunity to visit such beautiful old ports as Middleburg and Veere, before you head out to sea and back to England’s shore.

Discover the quiet and sheltered backwaters of Essex and Suffolk on one of cruises along the East Coast of England. You will be be sailing along the rivers of the area such as the Deben, and the Orwell, famous as a base for the distinctive Thames sailing barges. The Walton backwaters offer opportunities to land on remote and isolated sandbanks and see many species of wading sea birds and even seals.

Tall Ships Race 2012 Print

30th June Weymouth, St Malo 5th to the 8th, Race 1 to Lisbon to leave the boat on the 21st of July 2012.
Join the boat in Weymouth Dorset for the training cruise. You will set out for St Malo in France getting familiar with the boat and making new friends as you thread your way through the Channel Islands. Here you will join the rest of the fleet and enjoy the in port party, that is so much a part of the Tall Ships experience. Then the big race! You will sail Morning Star of Revelation down through the Bay of Biscay and on South to finish in Lisbon Portugal, and celebrate your achievement on completing the Tall Ships Race.

Cruise One Print

21st of July in Lisbon Portugal to the 2nd of August in Corunna in Spain.


Join the boat in Lisbon, an on the next day join the parade of sail as the Tall Ships fleet leaves Lisbon. Morning Star will leave the fleet and start her cruise to Corunna in the north of Spain. Weather and wind permitting you will call in on the coast of Portugal and Spain as your adventure takes you up the Atlantic Coast. Great sailing good company and a real adventure ahead of you.

Small Ships Race: London - Portland Print

Come aboard Morning Star in London and join the crew as we race her round the south coast and on to Portland in Dorset, linking the two main venues for the 2012 Games. You will be part of a fleet of Sail Training vessels, who like us, will be crewed by novices, but under the instruction of our experienced sailing team, who will teach you all you need to know. You sail nonstop, watch on watch to the finish line off the coast of Dorset.
